The concepts of information-seeking behaviour (ISB) and electronic resources are mutually inclusive in that the increasing  use of electronic resources and the tools for information searching and retrieval employed necessitated the need for a readjustment in  the information-seeking behaviour. Electronic information is becoming prevalent worldwide, and its use is growing at astronomical proportions as more and more users are recognizing the potential that it offers in terms of ease of access and usage.

This study takes a cursory look at the ISB and use of e-resources by Cyprus International University postgraduate students. Questionnaire was created using Google Forms- a survey tool through which it was electronically administered to the respondents, submitted and analysed. Findings of the analysis shows variance between awareness, access and usage and the corresponding effects on the quality of research. Increase in awareness and usage of electronic resources is seen as the way to improve research quality.

The research comes with a model and was carried out using a quantitative measure of questionnaire which was achieved by the use of a survey tool stated above.
