This study examines “The impact of Electronic media in the economic development of Nigeriaâ€. (A case study of Enugu State Broadcasting Service Enugu). The research work is made up of five chapters. Each of the chapters deals with a particular aspect of the research work.

This research as claimed at finding the impact of electronic media in the economic development of Nigeria. Five research questions were posed. T

he instrument used for data collections was a questionnaire containing questions relating to the research question.

The sample size used by the researcher was 70 (seventy). Responses from the respondents were presented in tables and analyzed using simple percentage.

The research finding shows that ESBS Radio helped in creating impact towards the economic development of Nigeria through its advertisement programs because Radio broadcast helps in the moral and spiritual development of the youths through different religious program aired through the Radio. It also find out that impacts of radio are numerous and cannot be ignored but music is the most medium where Radio make special impact because tension are reduced by music and this tension reduction helps in the economic development of Nigeria. The researcher made some recommendation and suggested some areas for further research.
