Introduction This chapter introduces a computerized mailing system. It focuses on the theoretical background of the research, statement of the problem, aim and objectives of the study, significance of the study, scope of the study and the organization of the study. Electronics are used to pass digital message or mail from a sender to a receiver of message. Computerized mailing system enhances the accurate and fast delivery of such mails (e-mail). Modern e-mail operates across the internet or other computer networks. Some early e-mail systems required that the author and the recipient both be online at the same time, in common with instant messaging. Today’s email system is based on a store-and-forward model. Email servers accept, forward, deliver, and store messages. Neither the user nor their computers are required to be online simultaneously; they need connect only briefly, typically to mail servers, for as long as it takes to send or receive message.
