ABSTRACT
This study examined the impact of technological advancement on the growth of entrepreneurship in Akwa Ibom State Transport Company Limited (AKTC), Uyo. The study utilized survey research design. Pearson Product Moment Correlation Coefficient (PPMCC) was employed to test the relationship among the variables. Data were collected using a sample of one hundred and forty one respondents (141) from Akwa Ibom State Transport Company Limited (AKTC), Uyo. Following analysis of collected data, the study established a significant relationship between technological advancement and cyber-attacks, a significant relationship between technological advancement and robbery attacks and a significant relationship between technological advancement and employees’ dependence on Akwa Ibom Transport Company. Based on this finding, it was recommended that Akwa Ibom Transport Company (AKTC) should invest in technology as it has the potential in reducing cyber-attack in the company. Management of Akwa Ibom Transport Company (AKTC) should pay attention to technological advancement in which robbery attack can be reduced in the company. Also management of Akwa Ibom Transport Company (AKTC) should pay attention to technological advancement as employees can depend on it for effective and efficient operation of the company.
