ABSTRACT

The Space Centre is a building entirely driven b y Science.

There is a powerful s ymb iosis between Architecture and

Science including the applicatio n of Science which is known

as Techno logy. For most Architects however, their dream

project is an art museum in the realm of the Guggenheim in

New York and Balboa as well as the Tate in Lo ndon. The

Space Centre is poised to replace the art museum as the

architectural icon of the 21s t century. The Space Centre is

one of a new wor ldwide generatio n of inter active buildings

concer ned with not o nly, rockets, satellites and space travel,

but more widely with our place in the cosmos. It is a

scientific build ing, co nstructed as a kind of scientific

experiment itself!
