Abstract
The study conducted to explore the roels of accounting information in secondary school in Ekiti state The population of the study consisted of all the secondary school in Ekiti state. The study adopted ex-post facto design, while random sampling technique was used in selecting the 344 respondents. The instrument for data collection was questionnaire. Data collected were analyzed using Pearson Product Moment Correlation (PPMC). The findings shows much impact and effect of the accounting information in the secondary schools in especially in the area of decision making. The study recommended that, all clear-cut definition of long-term corporate objective, within which the accounting information system will operate and decision-making should be administered in flexible and variable rigid adherences to accounting information, which are clearly appropriated for current conditions. This will course the whole accounting system to gain credibility and effectiveness.
